Red Hot Chili Peppers
Warner Music"Unlimited Love" on coloured vinyl records
After 40 years of band history, the Californian band around Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and the returnee John Frusciante released their twelfth studio album „Unlimited Love“. Not only with Frusciante’s powerful guitar sounds, but also with a total of 17 new music titles, they remain true to their typical sound and deliver their fans, after six years of waiting, a new „Peppers“ album.
For our client Warner Music, we were allowed to produce the album of the crossover legends on CD and in various vinyl record editions. The CD version was produced as a four-sided sleevepac with one CD and a booklet with sixteen pages.
For record collectors, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have gone all out. In addition to a standard edition with two black 12inch vinyl records (140g Virgin Vinyl), there are also versions in crystal clear, white, red and blue. Each of these versions was produced as a double LP with two printed inner sleeves and a spine sleeve with a 5mm spine.
In addition, a gatefold was produced with two black 12inch vinyl records in inner sleeves and a twelve-page poster. With the return of Frusciante, the band was not only able to continue the old sound, but also provide real musical enjoyment with many new tracks – which by their own admission did not all make it onto „Unlimited Love“ – and an eclectic record selection. A continuation of this endless love for the guitar-heavy music of the Red Hot Chili Peppers can certainly still be believed in.
