Ralph Ruthe from Bielefeld is a German cartoonist, comic artist, author and musician who is best known for his many different humorous comic drawings. In addition to all the drawings, he has also created many audiobook over the years.
For our customer Kiddinx, we have produced a limited and hand-signed special edition in the form of an audiobook. We were able to fulfil the request for a special format with an optimal media book in a large-format hardcover. The cover was covered with scratch-resistant matt film. This and the 24 pages of content were printed on FSC materials using Pantone spot colours.
The book pages contain a wealth of background information, designs, sketches, anecdotes and much more about the audiobook of the cartoonist. An edition for real fans, which Ralph Ruthe has not only signed himself, but which also explains everything behind the creation of the individual productions and the significance of the sound and music.

The special audiobook format is characterised by the fact that a CD holder made of black solid-coloured cardboard for four CDs has been glued onto the U2, providing support and space for the well-known Ruthe productions: „Das Klo“, „Flossen“, „Der Christkind Code – Ein Monster unterm Tannenbaum“ and „Die HNO-WG: Drei Detektive und ein
missing count“.
A surprise effect is provided by the two-part pop-up featuring the popular characters from the accompanying audiobooks, which is also printed in printed with Pantone and glued onto the U3.
This hand-signed audiobook edition is really anything but standard and a must-have for every Ruthe fan.
