All good things come in threes
For the third time in a row, the event „Black Gold at the Mühlenberg“ took place on 17 June. The Röbeler Kulturverein e.V., which has been organising smaller events around the lovingly renovated mill for several years, invited the visitors.
As in previous years, the focus of the visitors was on vinyl records.
How does music get onto vinyl? From vinyl cutting to electroplating to pressing, our staff showed how records are made in videos and presented visitors with real materials they could touch. Many copies of published products by well-known artists could also be discovered and examined.
Our experts on site provided a lot of information and answered the questions of interested visitors as well as real connoisseurs and vinyl fans. The analogue DJ team provided the musical entertainment – live from vinyl, of course! Culinary delights and refreshments were provided by the graduating class of the school campus.
The now well-established event also seems to have found favour with private and commercial vinyl record sellers. Dealers from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia made the journey to the Müritz to give numerous enthusiasts, interested and curious people the opportunity to browse through the many new and used vinyl records.
