Hat and sunglasses are his trademark. He is a legend of German rock music, he is a writer and a painter. He is a real attraction in Madame Tussaud’s waxworks in Berlin and with „Hinterm Horizont“ he has made it into his own musical. All this is UDO LINDENBERG.
For his 75th birthday, the musician released a comprehensive showcase of his 50-year career under the title „Udopium – Das Beste“. Carefully selected tracks represent a cross-section of his many productions and albums.

A special CD edition contains 75 tracks on four CDs including four new songs. The discs are packaged with a 52-page booklet and a download card in a four-page hardcover discpac. The standard version consists of two CDs and a 24-page booklet, also packaged with a download card in a six-sided traypac.
The artwork for the CD and vinyl record production is based on Andy Warhol’s Pop Art paintings. The vinyl box set is particularly special: the coloured records are perfectly matched to the artwork and were pressed in pink, neon green, purple and apricot. They are packed in a slipcase together with a hardcover book.
CONCLUSION: An impressive Best Of, a musical time travel through half a century – simply „Udopium – Das Beste“.
