AnnenMayKantereit
Universal Music Group | IrrsinnEspecially sustainable production
With „12“, the Cologne-based rock band AnnenMayKantereit has released its third album. It is particularly noteworthy that the band put emphasis on a sustainable production in the production of the CD and LP editions.
The CD is packed in a 4-pages digisleeve with an eight-page booklet and the 12inch vinyl record was manufactured as a coloured 180g Re-Vinyl, on the basis of 100% multicolour recycled PVC. Due to the random composition, each record exists only once in the world. Recycled paper and cardboard in various grammages were chosen for the CD and LP packagings and their printed parts.
The limited deluxe LP set contains the album on CD in cardboard wallet and the vinyl record from coloured Re-Vinyl. A 16-page booklet in LP format, a postcard, three stickers, one of three photographs and a foldable cell phone amplifier are included in the edition. Those printed materials and packagings were also made from recycled materials. The cell phone amplifier is made of FSC-certified paper and the photo is printed on special photo printing paper.
Further the unavoidable CO? emissions generated during production were compensated by the certified climate compensation from „ClimatePartner.“
