Callwey Verlag
Book cover with flocking
Vive la France! In Tim Raue’s beautiful book „Rezepte aus der Brasserie“ not only wonderful recipes of the French cuisine are presented, but also practical basic knowledge and interesting restaurant recommendations are given. Callwey Verlag gives this valuable content a worthy presentation in the form of a hardcover with partially flocked Art Deco elements. These tendrils, inspired by the chandelier from the listed Parisian restaurant „Chardenoux“, run across the cover of the book. This element is punched out on the shortened endpaper and the tailband and bookmark ribbon are colour-coordinated with the design of the flower tendril.
Flocking
The flower tendril is covered with dark blue flocking. This gives the book a special haptic experience.
Finishing of the endpaper
The endpaper is shortened, the element of the flower tendril is punched out of the endpaper. The colour of the endpaper matches the flower element on the cover.
